Deli News, Too

3 coney islands and a 'my bubby loves me' is what we ordered today. I got fries, Daryl got potato salad, Jerry got onion rings and Nik was just Nik. Nik was also the only person at the table who doesn't like pickles.

This place is pretty good. The reuben is not quite as good as cindi's, but the food here seems relatively more healthy (ie. only extremely deadly instead of extremely deadly with extra grease). The menu is really expansive. I hearby pledge to not order the same thing more than once at this place.

Our waitress remarked that Jerry looked like Simon Cowell. He does!

The Brick Oven

The description on the guidelive page actually describes the old brick oven. This new brick oven is still Mediterranean but it has a buffet now. Or at least during lunch it has a buffet. This was actually like our third time here and as usual it was good. It seems we rarely go anywhere "bad". On the buffet today was a tomatoey soup thing with pasta and ground beef in it, chicken thing, eggplant and ground beef stuff, ground beef nuggets cooked in tomato-ness and ground beef ka bob skewer things not actually on a skewer. The dessert was a cream of milk thing. It consisted of a creamy strawberry type substance under a flaky crust. Daryl said he liked baklava better. He said it to the owner!!

Texadelphia

No pictures again today. Keep forgetting to take a snapshot before we tear into our food. We all got a cheese-steak sandwich of one variety or another. Nik and I got the texican sandwich with extra mushrooms. I don't know what kind Brad and DMC got but Brad's sandwich was full of lettuce, mayo, and tomatoes. Nik was a trooper and ordered a plate of chips and queso for everyone. Lunch at Texadelphia is always a good one but I know my arteries are regretting the decision I made.
