Going Slavic at Franki's L'il Europe
David saw a review for this, so off we went, our lunchtime hopes and dreams in tow. The food was definitely eastern European, with brown and beige being the main food groups. Nik had Pork Roast with Spatzel, which is a kind of eastern European pasta. Daryl had Sarma, which is a fancy way of saying "cabbage roll". David had Hungarian Gulaz with Spatzel, and I had Jager Schnitzel with Spatzel. We also had some sort of sausage with lots of garlic and some cream stuff for an appetizer. There were lots of umlauts scattered around the dish names, which I am leaving out so as to not have to deal with it. Also notable was the lack of vowels. The food was pretty good, though.
