wwfl seattle - the hungry traveler

Unbelievable... an deli onsite (in Expedia building 3) that tastes good, is economical, has a great view, free soda, and doesn't make me stink like bacon grease for the rest of the afternoon. And best of all- I wasn't afraid to put my food down on the table to sit and enjoy it. I highly recommend the southwestern chicken sandwich with red peppers, a think slab of mozarella, eggplant, and chipotle mayo. Such a deal for $5.50! (Did I mention the free soda?)

Neuhaus Cafe

Ciara and Damitra's boss was leaving early or something today so they could sneak off and meet Daryl and me for lunch. Apparently they have some kind of 60 minute lunch rule or something. We went the Neuhaus Cafe, the place had lots of desserts and lots of candy. Daryl had the gourmet hamburger. The owner even came by and recommended putting Worchestershire (sp?) sauce on it. He said it was pretty good. Damitra had some kind of greek salady thing with olives and feta cheese and a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. Ciara had the classic pasta with linguine, alfredo sauce and grilled chicken. She really liked the grilled chicken but didn't finish her pasta. I had the classic pasta with penne, marinara and crispy battered chicken. The chicken was really good but Ciara thought it would be strange to have chicken strips in your pasta. I also had a cup of soup which wasn't bad, not great.
